ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Dr. Tripp Fuller is the founder and host of the #1 theology podcast, Homebrewed Christianity. As an author, speaker, podcaster, and professional theologian he is committed to bringing the best resources from the academy to the church so we can brew a more robust faith today.

Jeffrey C. Pugh, Maude Sharpe Powell Professor of Religious Studies, came to Elon in 1986. He was named Daniels-Danieley Professor in 2000, and was awarded the Distinguished Scholar Award in 2010. In the time he has been at Elon he has served on two major long range planning committees and was a founding faculty member and mentor of the Service Learning Community. He also helped develop and pilot the first global studies courses, which later became part of Elon’s core courses. He is the author of six books ranging from the Nazi era theologians Karl Barth and Dietrich Bonhoeffer to his work in religion and science. His most recent book on eschatology, The Homebrewed Christianity Guide to the End Times: Theology After You’ve Been Left Behind, was published by Fortress Press in 2016. He was named Distinguished University Professor in August of 2017.
